From 04.-06. In July 2019 I had a wonderful time at the songwriter festival ” Lieders auf Banz ” 2019, in front of the unspeakably beautiful backdrop of Banz Monastery in Bad Staffelstein. BR television recorded the concerts on Friday and Saturday evenings and broadcast the “Lieder auf Banz” on August 15, 2019. Click here for the complete broadcast. The Bayern2 summer radio broadcasts on the radio: “radioMitschnitt” from Franconia, on September 1st, 2019 from 9:05 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

I was on stage with my band: Brigitte Haas, Natalie Plöger and Freddy Hau. You can see how much fun we had on stage in our videos:

inFranken.de wrote about our performance: “ Roger Stein (…) revealed the multifaceted nature of his song poetry that evening: Just as beautifully and goosebump-worthy he was able to sing about happiness, love and “all of life”, it was just as biting and sarcastic also allowed him to reflect on the transience of beauty in his “wedding song of a different kind. ”

On site with us on these days in front of, on and behind the stage were: Viva Voce, Wolfgang Niedecken, Süd II – Schmidbauer & Pollina & Kälberer, Wolfgang Ambros, Julia Neigel & Dieter “Machine” Birr & Uwe “Hassbe” Hassbecker, Hannes Ringlstetter & Band, Hans Well & the Wellbappn, Christin Henkel, Lennart Schilgen, Belle Fin and many other great people and, above all, a very special audience that creates this special atmosphere at Banz. The weather was perfect and we had a great time.
